This must definitely be there.
- A performance-first mindset — KPIs, ROAS, CAC, LTV, incrementality. You optimise toward outcomes, not impressions.
- Proven hands-on experience in paid media: Google Ads (Search, Performance Max, Shopping, Display), Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads. You know the logic of bidding strategies, audiences and creative testing inside out.
- You translate complex data into clear actions for clients and colleagues — without jargon bombs.
- You understand pixels, conversion APIs and feed management (Meta CAPI, Google Enhanced Conversions, product feeds for Shopping/PMax) — and can implement them, not just talk about them.
- You can independently run technical audits of campaigns, tracking setups and attribution models — and know how to fix what’s broken.
We like to see this.
- Experience with server-side tagging (GTM Server, Stape, or similar).
- Curious, critical, and ownership in your DNA.
- Experience with growth experiments and structured testing (hypothesis → setup → measure → learn).
- Knowledge of marketing automation, CRM and CDPs and how they connect to ad platforms.
- Worked with WordPress, Shopify or headless CMS at implementation level.
- Early experience with AI tools for campaign optimisation, creative production or analytics workflows.
Prefer not to.
- Running campaigns without knowing what’s happening underneath in terms of tracking and attribution.
- Treating data like decoration instead of direction.
- Shipping setups without QA — “it works on my screen” doesn’t cut it.
- Flying solo — we grow as a team.
