Vavantas is a retailer with three locations in Boutersem, Sint-Truiden and Riemst, offering a nice range of clothes, shoes, toys, sports, leatherware and stationery. For their communication to a wide audience (from 7 to 77 years of age), they asked the help of advertising agency Pubmarket!.
Under the headline 'Surprisingly much Vavantas', a new creative concept was developed. Cilou Annys, Cynthia Reekmans, Elisa Guarraci and Virginie Claes are the new faces and influencers that will also help to address younger target groups.
Traditional offline communication channels (leaflets and print ads) got an entire make-over. A new channel was online bannering. Either ad hoc on the site of Het Belang van Limburg, or on all sites belonging to Mediahuis. The Facebook and Instagram profiles are now intensively built up with well-balanced attention to the full range. For the regional television channels TVL and ROB, new commercials were created with Cilou, Cynthia, Elisa and Virginie, which are, of course, also used on the social channels.
The renewed omnichannel approach should help Vavantas to put its full range in the spotlight, to reach younger target groups and to attract shoppers from the border regions in the Netherlands and Wallonia.
