The entire autumn of 2018 was all about the 100-year anniversary of Bidfood, market leader in food services. As their leading agency, Pubmarket! was responsible for the overall picture: from creative concept to graphic design and rolling out all communication activities, with the Bidfood 100 Years event as the cherry on top of the birthday cake.
The anniversary book ‘One century of passion’ is a passionate synthesis of 100 years of Bidfood and a look at the future of the company. ‘Work with passion’, with the testimonials of 10 (former) staff members was the main course of the book. In the chapter ‘Meet the passion’ we looked forward. Pubmarket! oversaw the editing and the design.
With three different events, all stakeholders were involved in the anniversary.
The Suppliers Day at the airport in Malle was both a look back, symbolised by flights with an old double-decker, and a look forward, with test drives of sustainable cars as a metaphor.
The climax was the Bidfood 100 years event at Brussels Kart Expo. For more than 1000 guests from the catering industry, an experience of 7 food trends for the future, followed by a spectacular evening party with many surprising acts was on the menu. Virginie Claes was the hostess of the day.
A few days later, the employees of Bidfood Belgium and the branches Langens, Declercq, Bestfood and Makady celebrated in the same setting with an original personnel party.

Throughout the special festive period, dozens of facts about Bidfood played a central role in print communication (brochures and magazines), online (corporate website and the online shop) and social media (Facebook and LinkedIn).
